StarsBack terms
StarsBack is a product of Vinay Koshy, trading as Sproutworth, ABN 15 726 359 627. "We" means Vinay Koshy. "You" means the business that signs up.
What you get
For A$99 a month including GST, StarsBack:
- gives you a private phone link to send a customer a Google review request by SMS or email,
- checks your Google reviews every 6 hours, and
- writes a draft reply to each new review and sends it to you.
You post replies yourself. We never post to Google for you.
Term
Month to month. There's no minimum term and no lock-in.
Cancelling
Cancel any time before your next billing date and you won't be charged again. Email cancel@starsback.com from the email address on your account. We'll email you a link. Tap it, and your subscription is set to end. Your service keeps running to the end of the month you've paid for. There's no notice period, and we don't refund payments already made.
Your customers
You must only send review requests to people who are your customers. You confirm, each time you send one, that you have the right to contact that person about the work you did. Every message names your business, gives your phone number and tells the customer how to opt out. A customer who replies STOP won't get review requests from any business that uses StarsBack. You can send up to 50 requests a day, and you can't send the same person a second request within 30 days.
You must follow Google's rules for reviews. Ask every customer, not only happy ones, and never offer anything in return for a review. StarsBack doesn't filter customers by how happy they are.
Drafts
Reply drafts are written by AI. Read each one before you post it. You're responsible for what you post.
Price changes
We'll email you at least 30 days before any price change. You can cancel before it starts.
Our liability
We'll do our best to keep StarsBack running, but we don't promise it will never be down. If it fails, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 3 months before the problem. This doesn't limit any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can't be excluded.
Ending your account
We can end your account if you use StarsBack to message people who aren't your customers, or if payment fails and isn't fixed.
