Podium pricing and contract terms, and a A$99 alternative
Podium doesn't publish a price on its pricing page. Its current terms (version 6.4, effective 1 October 2026) set a 12-month term that renews automatically unless you email support@podium.com at least 30 days before it ends. Leave early and you owe the fees for the whole term. StarsBack sends the Google review ask after each job and drafts your replies for A$99 a month including GST. It's month to month, and you cancel by email.
No cost. See how many of your Google reviews have no reply.

These are Podium's own words, from its terms of service version 6.4, effective 1 October 2026. The Australian and global versions say the same.
"the initial term for any Subscription to the Services is twelve (12) months and will automatically renew for subsequent periods of equal duration [...] unless either party gives written notice of non-renewal at least thirty (30) days before the end of the then-current Subscription Term."
"Client may give notice of non-renewal by sending an email to support@podium.com."
"If Client terminates during the Subscription Term for any reason other than the foregoing, Client will be responsible for the Fees due for the entire Subscription Term."
"All Fees are non-refundable and non-creditable, except as expressly set forth in Sections 2.3 (Modification of the Services) and 8.3 (Termination for Cause)."
Your own order form can set different terms, so check it.

How to switch without paying twice
- Find the end date of your Subscription Term in your Podium order form.
- Email support@podium.com at least 30 days before that date, as the terms say. Keep their reply.
- Start StarsBack in your last month on Podium. It's month to month, so you aren't signing up past that.
- Before you do, check your Google reviews at no cost, so you know where you stand.
What StarsBack does, and what it doesn't
It does
- Send your customer a Google review link by text or email after each job, from your phone in about 30 seconds.
- Check your Google reviews every 6 hours.
- Draft a reply to each new review for you to post.
- Draft replies for every unanswered review from the last 12 months, within 48 hours of confirming your Google listing.
It doesn't
- Do webchat, payments, phone calls or bulk text marketing. If you use Podium for those, StarsBack won't replace them.
